If you love drinking Mojitos and enjoy live Cuban music then I think I may have found the bar for you. La Bodeguita Del Medio has only been open for 2 months and already has many good reviews. After a long week of work, my workmates and I decided to see what the fuss is all about.
As soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be a good night, the interior of the bar is screaming Cuba. This place allows people to graffiti EVERYWHERE and you can ask the bar staff for a texter to start writing whatever you want on their walls, its heaps of fun! GO NUTS!
The restaurant is on the first level serving delicious authentic Latin American cuisines, while the bar is located in the basement with good atmosphere and people everywhere.
This bar is famous for their Mojito’s so my first drink had to be a Mojito, after looking around it seems every second person had a Mojito in their hand. Yep, their mojito’s are awesome and surprisingly it’s very affordable.
Roughly 8pm the live band came on stage to play Cuban music, they were rather entertaining and got the crowd going. Just don’t forget to brush up on your salsa skills.
Overall we loved this place, will definitely come back!!!
