Saturday morning for breakfast what should I do? We’ll I decided to try out Yum Cha since it’s been a while and my search for the best Yum Cha in Sydney continues. I decided to go to Market City where there is a well-known restaurant that does pretty good Yum Cha, when I arrived the restaurant looks quite different. Did they change owners? Or is it a new restaurant or have they re-branded them selves? I’m not sure; to be honest I couldn’t care less at this point I just wanted to eat!

The queue was massive; it’s always a good sign when restaurants are busy. But I was lucky once again; I got in quickly and headed straight for the food. The thing I like about Yum Cha is there is no waiting, if you see something you like just grab and eat it. My favorite dishes are Dim Sims, Prawn Dumplings and Chicken Feet, yes Chicken Feet sounds yucky but if you just try it with your eyes close you will love it!

The food tasted pretty good, but I’ve been to many Yum Cha Restaurants around Sydney, so this one is quite average compare to my other experiences. I will re-visit the other restaurants in the near future and will post this up for you to compare.

The staff here are everywhere so you won’t have a problem calling a waiter; they are quick and quite efficient.  The prices are not too bad either, but given its location I can see why prices are a little higher.

If you drive into town, you may have a hard time finding parking; you would need to pay for parking under Paddy’s markets if you don’t want to drive around the block looking. Would I come back? Yes I would, although it’s not the best Yum Cha they still did a good job and have a great location near Chinatown so it’s very convenient if you are already in the city.
